Is it totally corny for me to say that I am keen on women’s KEEN shoes? Maybe, but it is true. The Keen shoe collection for women is one of the most creative, interesting, and functional line of shoes that I have come across in a long time. The KEEN Company makes the best active footwear available, in my opinion, and they do it in a way that is incredibly fresh and unique. These shoes can go any distance you can - from the tops of mountains to the streets of New York. And they mix and combine materials and designs that make KEEN shoes as pleasurable to look at as they are practical to wear.
KEEN shoes are just really cool. You have to check out their collections to really get a feel for what I'm talking about, but I'll try to paint a picture for you. Imagine every modern, sleek, interesting, and fun element that you have seen on active footwear lately:
Add splashes of vibrant neon colors, subtle washed earth tones, playful pinks and purples, and the ever-popular blacks and browns. Constructed with durable stitching and advanced production technology designed to make shoes that can climbs mountains with you.
See it? That's a KEEN shoe for women.
The KEEN collections offer a real cornucopia of choices for any activity, style, or personality.
Waterfront: This collection is very sporty, flexible, and colorful. This is a casual collection of shoes that can walk in water while you hike, bike, and explore.
Market Street & BLVD: These are more classically tailored shoe collections. They are perfect for the office or a day of shopping. But hidden under their sleek, contemporary designs is the structure of a KEEN shoe, so that they can go with you from work to a weekend adventure.
Trailhead: This is the most rugged collection by KEEN made for hiking and outdoor sports. The most durable shoes KEEN offers, these shoes can take on any weather.
Pedal: This is a line of shoes designed specifically for cycling. They combine function with a cool, sporty look so you'll want to wear them even after you're done with your ride.
Most collections offers a range of shoe designs including:
And KEEN shoes, even the dressier ones, are designed to handle all conditions of weather. KEEN offers shoes that are insulated against the cold, open and breezy sandals for the hot summer sun, and waterproof and water resistant shoes.
"As a commuter, I need a shoe that can walk with me to work and be comfortable and stylish at work. The KEEN Clifton Loafer works so well for me, I own it in all three colors."
"The Oregon PCT has gone on every vacation I have for the last three years. It hiked into a dormant volcano with me, walked behind a waterfall, and horseback rode . If they ever wear out, I will order a new pair immediately!"
"The look of any KEEN sandal is so unique that I try out a new pair every season. I love that I get the same comfort, support, and durability with each pair with striking aesthetic differences. Very cool."
My personal choices for women’s KEEN shoes are the Bern High Boot in Orla (a deep red) with a faux shearling lining and the Wear Around Lace in Moroccan Blue. These shoes will carry me, almost literally, into spring - from my office to my backyard and beyond!

Agreed. Very comfortable shoes. I started...

These Keens are a very cool do everything kind of shoe. I actually purchased these shoes for myself after seeing that the men's versions only came in the same boring colors...navy blue, black, grey. Me being extremely secure with my sexuality I decided that I wanted the Process Blue(bright) and that I was willing to wear a womens size to get them. I have 4E wide feet...that is right not one E but 4, however I usually wear a 9 in mens shoes. Well after some trying I found the the womens' 11 fits me perfect. After going through all of this I recieved the shoes very quickly and found them to be a bit tight but after a short hike on the Appalachian Trail they settled right in nicely and have been very comfortable especially on the hikes where you have to cross a stream or river and your feet are doomed to get wet and stay that way. So far not a single blister from my neon blue womens' Keens on my big fat duck paddle of a foot.
KEEN makes unique shoes. Rugged but also feminine. And best of all they are very comfortable.
