Walking Shoes - By Kerry Miller on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 - 22:00

Sometimes i resent having to wear shoes. The sun is bright and warm, the air is a little thick, and the grass is so cool and inviting…who wants big clunky leather and rubber coming between them and that refreshing green? I want to become one with nature and earth, and rejoice in the lack of snow and ice for those few short sweet months we in the north call summer.

Now, can a shoe really make you feel like nature girl? And if they do, can they be well-built, environmentally friendly, and comfortable? They can. And they have a cool name: Think!. But what, you may ask yourself, am i supposed to be thinking about? I want to be thinking about how good my bare feet feel in the grass. Well, these come as close to barefoot as you can get without getting kicked out of the convenience store (no shoes, no service!). They are airy and soft with support and stamina. They’re also cute, going well with shorts, jeans, or something dressier.

Think! Julia 82354's are just plain smart. They have anatomically contoured footbeds that are handcrafted of natural cork and covered with a latex foam and micro-cell inlay that acts as a shock-absorber. That inlay actually forms to the shape of your foot so it’s like they’re made for you, and it wicks away moisture to keep your feet dry. They have a nice fit, and a sturdy rubber sole that is flexible with good traction. The leather is tanned with organic dyes and is hypoallergenic and toxin-free for sensitive skin.

The colors are simple and practical: Black and Café. And because they are made in Austria, they are European sizes (36-43).

The reviews are heartening:
“Very true to fit”
“Cute and comfy – you can wear them anywhere”
“Feel like you’re barefoot”
“Lightweight, but sturdy”
“My new favorites”
“Love these sandals”

You really should try these. They’re like being barefoot, only better.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Make sure you check the retailers return policy. The retailers we recommend are very good about making sure the customer is happy with their purchase, and take care of issue quickly.

My friend puchased the shoes and they fell apart after 5wks! She was so upset. Stores have to send the shoe back to Think for evaluation prior to getting new shoes or refund. they can say you caused the shoe to fall apart and you will be left with trash! Frieda
