The Founding Of OluKai

For the company’s logo the makau (bone hook) is used.  This is a traditional Polynesian symbol that is worn for good luck, safe passage on the water, and strength.

OluKai Ohana Sandals

These sandals are a part of the Makai (towards the ocean) collection.  The upper part of these shoes is made from a water resistant leather while the footbed is non-slip and feels great. There is also a jersey knit lining and soft nylon toe webbing.

OluKai Hiapo

The OluKai Hiapo sandals are very luxurious, made with premium leather and whip stitched straps that have a soft pigskin lining.  This also helps to make them very comfortable to wear, as does the premium leather-wrapped anatomical footbed as well.

OluKai Lomi

While there is a one inch heel on these water resistant OluKai Lomi shoes, they are still very comfortable thanks to the molded EVA anatomical midsole and the molded EVA, drop-in footbed that has a pebble massage design.  It is nice to note that their durable, synthetic leather straps are quick drying because of the neoprene jersey strap lining.

OluKai Kumu

The OluKai Kumu shoes feature a four part sole construction that consists of nubuck, neoprene, EVA and rubber.  The top of these shoes is made out of a durable rubber with straps that are made out of premium leather and soft pigskin.  They also have an anatomical EVA footbed that is made out of premium leather.
