Hawaii. Endless white sand beaches, cool crashing waves, clear blue skies, and killer volcanoes (wait, forget that last part). Beautiful women greet you when you arrive and drape aromatic flowers around your neck and plant a kiss on each cheek.  So many of us dream of it, but who among has actually taken the plunge? Not me. But the day I found the OluKai Ohana sandal, i felt like I was as close as I’d ever be.

I’m not sure which is more important, that they’re cute or that they’re water-resistant. Oh, or that they’re really comfortable. Because they are all of the above. They are completely water-resistant and they dry really quickly, even when you get them soaking wet (like running through a creek in the middle of the night when it’s no longer warm and sunny).
Even the synthetic leather upper strap is water resistant. They have a silky soft jersey knit lining and neoprene foam backer for added comfort. Even the toe post is made of soft nylon webbing so it doesn’t hurt. The fit is really nice as the foot bed is deep and the heel cup prevents your heel from sliding to either side.

They offer a nice color selection with Black, Coral, Dark Java, Deep Purple, Off-white, and Sunrise. There are whole sizes 5 – 11, but it’s a toss up as to whether to round up or down. I usually wear a 9.5 and the 9 fits perfectly.
