The New Clarks Wave Shoes

feature 1, Rocker Bottom Shoes, Walking Shoes - By Terri Mullerson on Thursday, October 20, 2011 - 09:21

I have never felt anything as comfortable as Clarks Wave shoes are.  Obviously I’m not the only one who has noticed this though.  After all, you can purchase these shoes at many of the top online shoe retailers.  However, I found Footwear etc. a great selection of the Clarks Wave shoes with free shipping and no sales tax.

My Thoughts On Clarks Wave Shoes

These are the best walking shoes ever.  I love the fact that I can wear them everywhere I go an then, whenever they do get dirty, I simply wipe them off and then let them air dry.  What makes them even nicer is that the Women’s Wave Cruise will give your feet a touch of femininity whenever you are out and about on the go.

These shoes make walking smooth and effortless.  Their unique, curved EVA sole helps my feel roll smoothly along as they hit the ground.  This is aided by their rounded heel edges that help give me a smooth, forward motion and then their rocker profile propels me through each step while lessening its impact.  There is also extra toe support that also guides my feet to roll off of my big toe, propelling me comfortably forward.  It is as though this memory foam’s extra padding has me walking on air.  I also like how easy they are to put on thanks to the adjustable hook and loop strap.

The Size And Fit Of Clarks Wave Shoes

These shoes are true to size.  However, there are some people who have really wide feet who have difficulty wearing these shoes because even the wide width still seems to be a bit narrow to their feet.  You can also place custom orthotics in these shoes.  They are quite easy to get on and off as well.

Clarks Wave Shoes’ Customer Loyalty Program

It is easy to get extra points to use on your next shoe purchase thanks to the Clarks Wave shoes customer loyalty program, which is free to sign up for.  This is truly one program that has been designed with customers in mind.  All you have to do is register for the program; select a password and you are on your way to earning points that can be redeemed for monetary savings or discounts on your future programs.  You can also choose to receive special news and offers from them in your email.  It is their way of making sure that you are truly satisfied with your purchase, showing you their professionalism and helping you through your shopping experience.

My Final Thoughts

I will continue to purchase Clarks Wave shoes whenever I need a new pair of shoes.  This is because they are so comfortable that I truly feel as though I’m walking on air.  Of course, their customer loyalty program is a great bonus.  However, even without this program I still feel that there is nothing better than Clarks Wave shoes.

Wore them straight out of the box for four days of nurse work. They are great! I even went christmas shopping one day after work. Usually I head home after work and call it a day. I had very mild leg soreness the first two nights. But I was expecting worse since I had been on vacation for three week prior. my only complaint is I wish the styles were more trendy. But im all about comfort.

After another shoe manufacturer stopped making a shoe I had worn for many years, it was time for a change. Last week I tried the Clarks New Wave walking shoe and have been trying them without my orthopedic inserts. No pain or discomfort. Don't even have to think about the heel-toe way of walking.

As suggested by the store assistant I wore my wave shoes around my house. After just 4 hours my feet felt very painful. Afraid these will be going back.

Hi I experieced a pain in my hip after wearing these shoes for a whole day, although I was not on my feet much. I was wondering if anyone else had had any trouble? I was about to return them, but then thought maybe I need to wear them in gradually, like the back suffers! - maybe I'll just end up with two sore hips! Rachel

I adore them and hope clarks keeps making them in different styles. it's the only shoe that allows me to walk without extreme pain.

With rocker bottom shoes you do need to start out slow. They gently work the muscles of your lower back by improving your posture. Start out by wearing them a couple hours a day, and slowly work up to wearing them all day. It will make a BIG difference.

Yes, I too have experienced back pain after wearing my new shoes for a day. I'm trying to decide whether to return them or not. I don't know whether this wave design puts too much weight on that part of the body.

DId anyone experience low back strain after wearing these shoes the first time? They were so comfortable that I wore them all day on Sunday but noticed that evening my low back hurting (I've had back problems in the past) and today it is still aching. I love these shoes but wondered if they require a gradual breaking in period; wearing for a few hours each day? Curious if anyone else had this issue or any suggestions? Thank you.
