In the late 1980’s the Naot Orion sandals were born in northern Israel when the founder of the company concluded, “it is fashionable to walk in comfort.” Today, a lot of people have come to appreciate the unique anatomical footpad that makes you feel as though you are walking in the sand because it is so flexible, soft and shock absorbent. I have even found that after spending hours on my feet at a time, they don’t feel tired - as long as I am wearing my Naot Orio sandals.
I found a pair of the Naot Orion sandals at My Favorite Naot Retailer, and was surprised by just how comfortable these sandals really are. This is thanks to their unique anatomical footbed that replicates the contours of my feet, just like the sand would whenever I was walking barefoot in it. It also helps that these sandals fit true to size. However, this wasn’t the only thing that I liked about these sandals. The fact that Naot Orion also cares enough about my feet’s health to use only the finest and highest quality of raw materials also makes me feel good about putting on these sandals. Of course, these sandals are very stylish too. I have worn them with pants, shorts, and even a few skirts.
These sandals put a nice twist on the thong and add some fun into my casual look while also supporting my feet. There are a couple of great features that make this all possible:
The Naot Orion's twist on thong sandals have nice, soft leather uppers that are star stitched and a suede-covered cork footbed. You will find that the lightweight polyurethane sole provides for a comfortable fit and feel. If you wear a half size though, you will need to order the next size up (i.e., a size 7.5 should order a size 8). Both the Naot Orion leather and leather stretch sandals have a one-inch heel, while the Naot Orion Glory sandals have a two-inch heel.
Naot Orion sandals really do offer stellar style coupled with down to earth comfort. Their sleek straps are layered over a modern looking stretch band. You will also get plush cushioning and great support from the suede covered cork footbed. All things considered, these well made sandals are worth their price tag.
