If you are a foodie, you’re familiar with the rule of buying kitchen gadgets: don’t buy it unless it’s multi-functional. When followed, this rule saves us from having drawers and shelves overflowing with nearly useless items that do one thing and one thing only. We bought them thinking they would come in handy someday (kind of like that piece of clothing that keeps getting pushed to the back of the closet – yeah, I have to keep that because I’ll be able to fit into it again someday).
Well, the same goes for your shoes, and that was the first thing that popped into my head when I opened the box on Christmas morning and saw my new pair of Merrell Circuit MJs. They miraculously combined a Mary-Jane and a sneaker without the styling or functionality suffering. It’s another Merrell shoe that I wear in the woods, on the weekends, and at the office. Yes, they are indeed multi-functional.
They aren’t cuddly kitten or fuzzy bunny cute – they’re “oh man, these are cute” cute. Like all Merrells, they are true-to-size, but have a nice little Velcro-backed strap so you can loosen or tighten when needed. They are flexible in looks and use, lightweight, and excellent traction (the tread looks like octopus suckers). Even on hot, sticky days they keep my feet comfy and cool because they are lined with breathable, antimicrobial mesh.
Merrell Circuit MJ shoes are available in full and half sizes from 5 to 9.5 plus 10 and 11. I wear a 9-1/2 in most shoes and their 9-1/2 is spot on. And although I always buy black, they come in a small but nice list of colors: black, black print, brown, brown print, canteen print, moss, and taupe print.
If you need more convincing, the reviews are overwhelmingly positive:
Not to put too fine a point on it, these are a must have for anyone who wants style, comfort, and performance. The only problem is deciding which color to buy next.
Okay. Now it's time to buy a pair of Merrell Circuit MJ shoes for yourself. You will find the largest selection at Shoes.com. Just click the link to go there.
