ECCO shoes for women combine the incredible Freedom Fit that is found in all ECCO shoes with polished design and style. ECCO shoes are perfect for the workplace, a weekend getaway, and everything in between. The ECCO collections are more expensive than other shoes on the market, but when I have compared the quality, design, and fit of ECCO shoes with less expensive shoes, the difference is apparent. ECCO shoes cost more because they are made better, last longer, and feel better on.
The Groove Gladiator, a Roman-inspired sandal in shadow white, was almost the only shoe I wore last spring and summer. And the Bristol T Strap Pump, in black patent leather, was a really fashionable shoe that was actually comfortable to wear to work all day, every day. Check out the ECCO difference, and I think you’ll be sold, too.
There are several places that you will find ECCO shoes for women. I personally think that Footwear etc. is the best retailer because I find that they do not compromise customer service and they really know about the high-end shoes that they sell. ECCO shoes are something of an investment because of their cost, and I wouldn’t trust that investment to any other retailer. The most competitive prices, best selection, and great service are reasons to choose ECCO shoes and Footwear etc.
The ECCO Company uses the latest in advanced shoe construction technology, the best materials, and the most recent trends in fashion and performance footwear to create a line of shoes for women that exceeds any expectations in fit and function. The two details that exemplify the ECCO difference are design and technology.
Design: Taking a cue from its Scandinavian roots, ECCO employs smart, clean design lines for polished, sharp looks. The look is sensible, practical as well as highly current and chic. The shoe company strives for the design to not only look good but to also result in the most comfortable footwear available for women. A beautiful and functional shoe can be found in every pair of ECCO shoes for women. At ECCO, they use the idea that “the foot controls the shoe and not the other way around.”
Technology: ECCO is a company that really is committed to building a better shoe – for fit, comfort, and style. Focusing on creating a lighter, more flexible shoe that surpasses others like it, ECCO shoe uses material mixes (they call these “fusions”) and unique designs to ensure a great product.
A European-type fit, ECCO shoes use what they call the “Freedom Fit.” This is a fit that offers a roomier toe box and a more narrow and snug heel and instep. This is actually the most common foot shape, although other shoes are not designed this way. The shape allows toes to spread for better support – a more natural way to balance the weight of your body.
However, this fit is different from others so you do have to give it a chance. You are likely used to shoes that are narrower at the toe and wider at the heel and instep. With my first pair of ECCO’s, out of the box, I thought the sizing was wrong. They fit fine, but different. Determined to try them anyway (the price tag was a great motivator!), they felt great - amazing at the end of the day – the fit was better than other shoes. My toes didn’t feel pinched like in so many other fashion shoes and I had no pain in my arches – a rarity for a long workday.
ECCO also uses European sizing so it’s important to know your conversion size. Below are some standard conversions.
Women’s US size 6 and 6.5 = ECCO size 37
Women’s US size 7 and 7.5 = ECCO size 38
Women’s US size 8 and 8.5 = ECCO size 39
Women’s US size 9 and 9.5 = ECCO size 40
ECCO also offers sizes as small as a 4/4.5 (ECCO 35) and as large as 12/12.5 (ECCO 43) for women – sizes very hard to find with other companies – I should know, I’m a size 4.5.
“I don’t buy any other shoes now except from ECCO. They are comfortable and stylish and they have shoes for work and my casual wardrobe.”
I wasn’t used to the European sizing, so I bought two pairs just to be sure. I did not need to though; the sizes were true to the conversion chart – even considering I am a half size.”
“I have a wide foot, so I needed a size up from the suggested ECCO conversion, but when the size was right, these shoes cannot be surpassed in comfort – and they are so sharp looking, too, matching every suit in my wardrobe.”
Visit My Favoro Ecco Shoes Retailer and you are sure to find your perfect pair. And even though they cost a bit more, ECCO shoes for women will carry you much farther – on your feet, during your day, and with your dollar.
