Basic marketing teaches that there are 3 value propositions: best product, best cost, and best solution. And of course this is all perception. Personal taste dictates what product you like best. Personal wallet girth determines what price seems reasonable to you. Both of those, plus some other unpredictable je ne sais quoi, add up to what the best solution is. The Clarks Patty Fiji should be pictured on the dictionary page next to the word “value propositions”. They are practical with a touch of funky, very comfortable, and reasonably priced.
A small platform and 1” heel give you a little lift. The leather upper has elastic imbedded in it to hold your foot snugly, but not so tight that your toes turn blue. Comfort comes in many forms: a fabric interior lining that prevents abrasion, a cushioned foam footbed that absorbs shock with each and every step, lightweight outsole reduces foot and leg fatigue, and the flexible construction allows the foot to rest directly on the cushioning and increases durability. No rubbing or pinching, just soft and supportive. And the tonal stitching adds a little style without being over the top.
They offer a nice range of color choices: Black, blue, brown, red, sandstone, and tan.
Sizes are whole 5-12.
